Antique Quillwork Strap

Materials: Black and white glass seed beads; porcupine quills; vegetal fiber.
Description: Carrying strap (possibly for a knife sheath) composed of vegetal fiber warp strands which have been wrapped with quillwork at opposing ends. Central section of woven beadwork, the beads anchored by weft strands and laying between two twisted warp strands.
Dimensions: Length 31.75 inches 80.7 cm.
