8th Annual Bledsoe's Fort Colonial Fair

Bledsoe's Eighth Annual 18th Century Colonial Fair will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, May 1st - 3rd, 2015, at Bledsoe's Fort in Castalian Springs, TN. Historic re-enactors will recreate history and life at the site of the original Bledsoe's Fort, the Rogan Cottage, and the Nathanial Parker Cabin. The event will showcase many different facets of the Fort Site including a Longhunter's camp, Military Camps, and a Native Encampment indicative of the 18th century period at Bledsoe's Fort. Visitors may shop on Traders Row for colonial arts and crafts, clothing, pottery, guns, knives, toys, and much, much more! Educational demonstrations, colonial games, and a children's area will add to the experience. Children can relive the past in authentic colonial clothing that will be available to rent for the day. Take a walk through the woods around the trace, take a hay ride, or kick up your heels during the Big Dance that will have everyone stepping back in time. You don't want to miss the magic shows, strolling minstrels, musicians, and street performers that will be only a part of the celebrations presented at the Colonial Fair. Come for the day or buy a weekend pass and enjoy life on the frontier at Bledsoe's Colonial Fair.
