Restoration Work by Art DeCamp

Pointed Tree Horn

A small crack on the inside at upper edge was stabilized, re-sized four peg holes for retaining the butt, and made a new butt with staple installed.  Aged up everything so it all looks pretty good I think.  The wood for the butt was from a piece of very old pine that I have which once was a floor joist in the White House, installed during Lincoln's Presidency and removed during remodeling when Truman was President!

Naval Officer's Dirk

The pommel on the dirk was turned from antler, colored and fitted.
