German Flint Double Fowler by Mike Gahagan for Mark Thomas

These photographs are of a German flint double fowler that Mike Gahagan just built for me.  The barrels are 16 gauge and 40 inches long made by Rice individually and put together by someone else.  The locks are castings from The Rifle Shop that Mike altered and built.  Everything else was pretty much made by Mike with the exception of maybe the triggers and trigger guard.  Mike of course did all of the engraving and carving.  The stock is English walnut with an oil finish.

Copy by Mark Thomas with photography by Mike Gahagan.
