The Militia Musket is made from the New England Colonial Fowler/Militia Musket Kit from Jim Chambers' Flintlocks. Built and finished with a little patina by Cory Joe Stewart. Featured with the musket is a plug bayonet made by Nathan Allen with a scabbard made by Cory Joe Stewart that was influenced by an original scabbard.  The strap for the scabbard was woven by Shayna Matthews and features the letting LIBERTY OR DEATH.

The bag was inspired by an original in Madison Grant's book.  The utility/skinning knife was made by Nathan Allen.

The knife was made by Nathan Allen, the strap was made by Kris Polizzi and the Curt Lyles forged the two buckles.  

I do not know who made the pick and whisk set, but it is handmade.

The Collection of Manfred Schmitz

This is a set that I use with my fowler. Bag and hanger for the hatchet and the knife sheath is made by myself . The knife is made by Shame Emig and the hatchet by Nathan Allen. The powder horn is by Scott Sibley. The leather canteen I bought years ago an ebay.

Tim Sanner Powder Horn, Bill Legdon Bag, Nathan Allen Knife, Kris Polizzi Strap

While at Gettysburg doing "History Meets the Arts" for Lord Nelson's Gallery, I took a horn along to engrave for my son as my project for the weekend. It measures 15" long with his name on the front, the back side has a deer standing among pine trees with a sun smiling down. It has a turned applied horn tip held on by wooden pins and a turned maple end cap. He will also be receiving the nice bag made by Bill Legdon of Johnstown Pa., a Nathan Allen knife held in a sheath on the back of the bag, and as always, no respectable powder horn would be seen with out a fine woven strap by Kris Polizzi from Elizabethtown Pa.

Now Josh will be seen in style will at the primitive shoots. Hope you enjoy it Josh

Belt Axe by Nathan Allen with Holder by Manfred Schmitz

I bought this at the CLA Show this year a nice Belt Axe made by Nathan Allen. Back in Germany I made a cover with a shoulder strap for it, all handsewn strap. It is made from old linen also the iron rings made by myself and for the cover I use calfskin and a pewter button for  close the cover.

Allen Martin Rifle, Art DeCamp Horn on a Manfred Schmitz Bag with a Nathan Allen Knife

This rifle made by Allen Martin, the Philadelphia screw-tip horn by Art DeCamp and the knife made by Nathan D. Allen were purchased at the 2011 CLA Show.  Manfred made the knife sheath and the hunting pouch after he got home to Germany.
