Tomahawks by Ken Schwarz with Finishing and Engraving by Wallace Gusler

The tomahawks were all handforged by Colonial Williamsburg Master Blacksmith Ken Schwarz and hand filed and finished by Wallace Gusler. The handles are made of ash. The Hammer Pole is a close copy of the original pictured that was excavated at a site in Alabama. All three axes have steel welded into the blade for cutting.

  1. What period did that tomahawk date from? What dig was it from? I would love to track it further.
