Jim Dressler, author of The Engraved Powder Horn book died Saturday, October 22, 2011 of complications from Parkinson's.

He will be missed. I enjoyed my time spent with him at a few gunshows and in his museum. He was an inspiration to Cathy and me, in our aspirations in our quest to reproduce itms from the 18th century. He was a fine man with many friends.

Jim will be missed. He was instrumental in the early development of a number of the trade silver items we now offer due to his overwhelming generosity and willingness to share his collection and knowledge. Our sincerest condolences go out to Carolyn and the family.
