Game Bag by Ron Scott

This is a large Game Bag I just finished.  It is twelve inches wide by eleven inches tall.  I used a russet color Goat Hide for the exterior body and strap. The interior is lined with thin Pigskin, while the stitching is waxed linen. The tied Game Front is made of a strong Hemp thread, made by Steve Redosevich.  There is a large interior pocket fastened to the back section of the bag. The strap as earlier mentioned is Goat Skin, while the top surface is a hand woven Linen Fabric in a Herringbone pattern. I had noted a Game Bag from the Hermitage Museum with leather covered rings and applied the same technique here. The strap rings fasten to the edges of the bag rather than the back. A large Brass Sling type buckle allows for five inches of adjustment.
