Milestone Auctions: W DEADERICK JOHNSON TN CONTEMPORARY LONGRIFLE

SERIAL NUMBER N/A BARREL 42 1/2" CALIBER .45 RIFLED MANUFACTURED CIRCA ESTIMATED 1970'S Highly decorated with multiple inlays and modest engraving. Striped maple full stock with decorative carving, German silver end cap and butt plate, four-piece engraved German silver Shenandoah Valley-style patchbox, carved cheek rest with inlaid German silver oval and crescents, additional engraved-decorated German silver geometric inlay, rifled octagonal barrel signed "W. Deaderick. The rifle appears to have been in a fire at one point and restored with the forestock being spliced for the last 35" of the barrel channel . The work is wonderful and one has to examine closely to find the work. Loading rod is missing. 

CONDITION. Good with excellent borer and properly functioning lock. Stock is good with the restoration as noted.
