Captain William Kidd by Ken Scott

This painting and ledger notations are done on the inside of an old book cover. It notes an event of Captain Kidd sighting a Mermaid (Seahag) off the coast of Tortola (Island of Turtles) in the Caribbean. Showing a picture of the mermaid done in ink and water colour as the focal point. It mentions "The Good Ship–Blessed William." Has a pencil drawing of it as well. There are also listing of items in Captain Kidd's box taken in plunder, mentioning two bags containing silver and silver bars along with one bag of "Seventy Four Coynes Silver." Has a signature, Captain William Kidd and the date 1700.
