The 2015 Contemporary Longrifle Foundation Fund Raising Auction will take place on Friday, August 14th at 5:00PM in Lexington, Kentucky at the Annual CLA Meeting and Show. The Grand Ball Room - Lexington Convention Center, 400 West Vine Street, Lexington, Kentucky.

Featuring contemporary work produced by today's finest CLA artist, the auction will commence on Friday evening at 5PM.  Auction chairman Heinz Ahlers enthusiastically says that this year's art maintains the same high quality as in years past with great offerings for discriminating buyers.

16th CLA Annual Show and Meeting

The 16th CLA Annual Show and Meeting will be held August 17th and 18th at the Lexington Convention Center in the Grand Ball Room in Lexington, KY.

The Contemporary Longrifle Foundation will hold their auction on Saturday the 18th. The 2012 live auction is commemorating the 200 year anniversary of the War of 1812, each of the nearly two dozen auction items will relate to the events of that war and its direct participants. From Tecumseh to Andrew Jackson, from frontier forts like Fort Meigs to Native American villages caught up in the fray, each and every item will have a story to tell about our nation and its “Path To Freedom”.

American Tradition Magazine

Monday Bill Scurlock posted on his blog the cover and an inside spread of the new CLA magazine, American Tradition. He was gracious to allow us to post these images. The 48 page, full color magazine will be shipped in a couple of weeks to the members of the CLA.
