Ekkehard Krämer used the pictures and descriptions from Erhard Wolf's Jäger rifle book as a model for these german Jaeger rifle. Ekkehard Krämer also made all the FREUND fittings. Erhard Wolf is also the proud owner of the rifle. The tapered octagonal barrel in .58 caliber is .33 inches long and was made by Jason Schneider of the Rice Barrel company. The lock is a copy of a Roundface flintlock from the collection of Jürgen Malarik, who also supplied the French walnut stock blank. The lock was reproduced by Jim Chambers based on the original. The trigger guard is a one-off. It was created using CAD data. The front part comes from an original trigger guard from the 18th century, the rear part comes from a guard by Wallace Gusler, a kind of reminiscence of him. The engravings were made by Luisa Daenner, a graduate of the engraving school in Suhl and regular dinner guests by Jürgen Malarik`s Collectormeetings.
Copy and photos supplied by Manfred Schmitz with the accompanying text is also by Erhard Wolf.
