I made this rifle in '93... I had not made a carved rifle since '81 and wanted to try one... But none since... Only thing I ever left in the white, I might should try another. I have learned a bit since this rifle, but am older and maybe have lost a wee bit of patience...

I remember Huston Harris looking at this rifle at Robin's show, I said "I used a plain piece of wood as I wanted the rifle to show and not the stripe. He said "I never missed it ".
The Robin show refers to Robin Hale and the Tennessee Kentucky Rifle Show.
