Lake Cumberland C.L.A. Mini Show

Alfred "Boy" Bledsoe at an early "Hammer In"

This show was started by Mel Hankla in 1995 as a show-and-tell; multiple forges were set up for blacksmithing and demonstrations. It is now a C.L.A. Mini Event with the goal being education.

The show is at the beautiful Lake Cumberland State Resort Park at Jamestown, Kentucky. The last time we were there the wild turkey and deer were roaming the woods by the show site.

This year's guest speaker will be Henry Bishop, noted author, researcher, and collector of rifles belonging to the Womelsdorf/Reading school. His collection will be on exhibit and he will speak at 4:00 P.M. Saturday afternoon.

Show dates are February 6-8, 2009. Show set up starts: 10:00 A.M. Friday till noon Sunday, February 8th. Open 8:00 A.M. Saturday till 11:00 P.M. Friday and Saturday.
