Powder Horns by Rick Froehlich

These are two sets of custom ordered powder horns.  The main horns are approximately 16 inches around the curve.  The metal bands and inlays are Britannia pewter.  Bases are hollowed out and all hand engraving designs are both traditional and more contemporary in theme.

Old Ax Heads with Hafts by Steve Boyleston

The very pitted head was excavated in Quebec about 20 years ago. Virtually all of the early dug tomahawks were English or French, this one is definitely French, circa 1710, forged from iron not cast steel. The second is an import as well fourth quarter of the 18 th century, being a hammer pole. It was really used and has heavy pitting as well. The handle was designed after a New England War Club. Both are stocked in a few of my last pieces of Slippery Rock, a Maple from Gerald Gutchess. They have acid and linseed oil finish on them.

Rifle by Brian Barker

This is a rifle I just finished. The customer wanted a Woodbury rifle and this is what I came up with. It has a .40 Rice "A" weight barrel 44" long, Chambers gun makers lock and Davis triggers that I modified. All the hardware was forged from steel with a pewter nose cap.  The curly maple stock came from Ian Pratt.
