High quality all-brass mounted flintlock pistol by Green
& Co., “No1 Ludgate Hill London”, circa approx. 1800. The pistol measures
approx. 11-1/2” overall with 6-1/2” two-stage brass barrel of approx. .54 caliber
smoothbore. The pistol shows a brass lockplate with brass mounts and is full
stocked in good quality walnut showing flattened edges to the grip. The
condition is fine to nearly excellent showing just some minor handling and
aging, one small repair at the left front of forend where a sliver of wood is
glued back and is almost imperceptible. The original topjaw, screw, and parts
are retained. The pistol is nicely signed and border engraved. An original to
the period ramrod is included.
