(This book is an interesting read. There is a great story on William Suttles, Sr. who at the age of 91 took one of his "excellent" guns to rescue a 14 year old girl who had been captured in a Cherokee raid. Around midnight by the light of the campfire Suttles shot one of the braves "through the heart" and in the ensuing commotion rescued the girl and returned her to her family. JR)
