Eli Motsay Quilled Apron
This is a quilled apron of which there is only a handful of originals in existence and a bit of mystery of there exact use. There are 2 quilled aprons in much the same style Alanson Skinner wrote about that are associated with war bundles. Perhaps they were used in dancing and also worn while returning home from a successful expedition whether it be a war or hunting party. This piece also incorporates design elements from 3 existing aprons. They are sometimes called kilts although apron is more appropriate.

Cable Damascus Knife with Sash Sheath by Jerry Fisher
I forged this knife from Cable Damascus with an integral bolster and an overall length of 10 1/4 inches. The handle is curly maple with through peened construction. The sash sheath is constructed of various weights of veg tan and dyed with some of my mixes. Hand sewn throughout.
