Pouch made from old shot sack, lined with period correct calico fabric, flap is brain tanned deer, adjustable strap has a forged iron buckle. Measure was made by Steve Lodding....Pouch measures 7" X 9"

Powder Horn by Clinton E. Byers for Jason Schneider of Rice Muzzle Loading Barrel Company

This powder horn was made for Jason Schneider of Rice Muzzle Loading Barrel Company. Jason is a good friend and makes both rifled and smooth bore barrels of the highest quality. I was honored to have the opportunity to build this horn for him. I would like to give a special “Thank You” to John Proud, who guided me in selecting the raw horn for this project and to Art DeCamp, who’s book Pennsylvania “Horns of the Trade” Screw-tip Powder Horns and their Architecture proved an invaluable resource.
