Jack Brooks after Jacob Dickert

Jacob Dickert had a long career as a rifle maker in Lancaster, PA. This rifle is made in his style. The engraved daisy patch box, decorative carving, and stock architecture are classic examples of Dickert's style. Jack even made a stamp, crossed arrow and tomahawk, to separate J from Brooks as the old master separated J from Dickert in the barrel signature. The rifle is stocked in curly maple.
