Butt: 2 ½ inch flat pine plug pained red
Peg: 1 inch lathe turned cow horn

Inscriptions: “Tomorrow the Gauntlet”/names of rivers, lakes, states, Indian towns, white settlements, forts
Carvings: Shawnee Indians with captives, trees, bushes, map of Northwest Territory, Lion headed cartouche, angel ascending from heaven, star, two running Indians, deer, maker’s mark
