    I have a horn marked John Tansel very similar to the one pictured. Mine has a rounded rear plug, shorter length between the fish mouth and tip (approx 2 inch) and there are 19 stars between the wings of the eagle. Only animals are deer and hounds. I obtained the horn from my uncle in the 1960's. He got it from a priest at Notre Dame Univ. South bend IN. Any information concerning John Tansel would be appreciated. Thanks!
