James Blake Quilled Headress

This piece is based on a original; it employs quill loom work, quill wrapped thongs, bead work, and a imitation Ivory Billed Woodpecker Beak and Scalp. The upright hair is moose hair dyed red.



The headdress worn by the Maya elite is very similar in design.
