Original bag may be made from a saddle bag. Bag measures 9.5 inches deep by 9 inches wide. linen repairs to inside of flap. Mid 1800's possibly. Container is original but did not come with the bag. It is damaged on the inboard side and is not usable. Displays well. This outfit is for display with a collection. I would not try to use it.
