I just finished this 18th Century "fire steel" before the show. It's entirely hand forged from original 18th Century Wrought Iron. The design is based off of an original striker and hand engraved with the patriotic slogan, "Our cause we leave to God and our Rifles". I employed proper 18th Century heat treating technology to ensure a hot shower of sparks.
