Here is a rendition of a well known rifle that is easily identified by its bible verse I WAS FREE BORN ACTS 22 28 engraved on the underside of the cast brass patchbox lid. I cast this lid and finial as well to replicate the original. It’s built around a 39” 54 caliber custom Rice barrel and a Chambers early Ketland lock. The carving while rather funky is very close to the original.
