The bag is made of a tapestry fabric and lined with a reproduction heavy weight linen. The flap, sheath and the edging around the pouch opening are bark tanned deer hide, and the simple strap was woven by Maryellen on an inkle loom.The powder measure (made from a horn pipe stem) and the antique powder horn were both items from Brian's collection, and the primitive style knife made by Brian completes the set.
