Northeastern Woodland Indian War Club by Steve Boyleston

the original is in the Museum of Natural History, Washington D.C.

Made from over 100 year old Maple, 27 inches long, 2  Six Inch long Gabon Ebony Blades

Finish, Laurel  Mountain  Forge Honey Maple, with Boiled Linseed Oil and Wax

The Maple has nice feather grain, similar to feather black Walnut. 

It was used in several Ceremonies on Martha's Vineyard by the Wampanog Tribe.
