Rifle by Brian Barker

This is a rifle I delivered at the Norris show. It was inspired by a North Carolina Deep River rifle. It has the pivoting wood patch box lid. A late Ketland lock by Chambers with modified Davis set triggers. It has a "B" weight 44" Rice barrel in .50 at the heart of the rifle. All the hard ware was forged by me in my shop. The toe plate is poured pewter with a little engraving. I did a little more with this rifles finish than I have with any of my others. It took about two weeks of work to get the look I was after. I think it turned out pretty good if you like the aged look on your rifle.
