Powder Horn by Soirle MacDonald of Sartle, Isle of Skye

Powder Horn carved and decorated in Nova Scotia in 1786 by Soirle MacDonald of Sartle, Isle of Skye. It was presented to the 3rd Lord Macdonald. (On loan from Sir Ian Macdonald of Sleat.)

  1. It would be nice to know exactly where this powder horn was when it was photographed? Is it housed at a museum on the Isle of Skye?
