Eagle Feathers by Andrie Brand
The reason I started to make my own reproductions of eagle feathers was that a real one were not to obtained legally. When the occasional feather was available, there where exhorbitant prices involved, wich for a simple carpenter are not acceptable (up to 120.00 dollars a piece). So I saved up and ordered a pound of turkey feathers and some deyes. I had cunningly steered my children to order me the Sioux specialtys booklet as a present for a Fathers Day. And I began to paint, and these are some of the results.
