.50 cal., 11" flintlock rifled barrel, marked H. House on top flat. Walnut stocks; plate on left side has three silver escutcheon plaques, of which two have the initials that read GSC and GC on top of case. This pistol is cased in a mahogany box and is complete. Hershel House is known for his period craftsmanship of Colonial American arms.
