This buffalo powder horn is made in the style of John Small of Vincennes, Indiana. Small was a noted gunsmith working during the Revolution until he died in 1821. All of the metal is sterling silver. The 3 1/4"1/2" base cap is engraved with a mythical fish swimming through a group of flowers, vines, and tendrils. The cap is engraved "J S BROOKS 2011". The buffalo horn is 14 1/2" long.
