Traditional, heart-shaped pouch based on the West Virginia pouch on page 123 of Madison Grant's book. The leather is from a saddle which was over 90 years old. The body panels are cowhide, and the flap is pigskin, taken from the seat covering. About 8" wide by about 9" deep. Fully-lined with thin deerskin. There is a hanging inside pocket which is not visible. The strap is hand-woven from linen and wool. An interesting project to undertake given the age of the leather.
