    Is this a forged head or a dressed out casting? Photos are great...but w/o some text it leaves everyone in the dark as to exactly what we are looking at.

    I have one of Bill's pipe-hawks..and it's beautiful, and definitely hand forged. He made the head of mine out of an old gun barrel. He makes everything including picking out and turning the wood for the handle. I even have a video of how he makes them. It's definitely a one of a kind, and one of my most prized posessions.
