Antique heart button with a floral design. The button is from the Jamestown, VA area and is about 1/4" in size.
Awl by Art Riser made from a rose head nail by Steve Marshall. The coin is 1734 Dutch.
The buttons are from 1725. They were recovered from a shipwreck off the coast of Hampton, New Hampshire.
Needle case by Charles Miller and antique needles. The needles are triangular in shape. Three are marked W. Woodfield & Sons 14 and one is marked W. Smith, England 14. The fabric is homespun linen.

Triangular shaped needles are called "Glover's needles", I understand thier use to have been for fine leathers like kid.
