Morphy Auction: LARGE BANDED POWDER HORN ENGRAVED WITH EAGLE AND MASONIC SYMBOLS from the Louie Parker Collection

The curved body measures about 14 - 1/2" across the biome, including the turned wooden plug. The curved body has a turned spout followed by 3 deeply grooved wedding bands. The main portion of the horn has 3 applied convex horn bands and one flat band at the butt with 4 engraved lines. Between the first and second bands, there is an engraved whale. Complete with an original wooden powder measure.
