  1. Ken seems to be the only credible maker of boucherons who is producing a 3 pin version with scales rather than a 2 pin sawed slot type like the English counterpart. It makes a certain amount of sense given the gradual thinning of the French tangs, but I have never seen an original example of this. Anyone know of any documentation to support Ken's 3 pin interpretation?
