This piece is a component set from Dunlap Woodcrafts. A few years ago I carved the pattern from which the stock is shaped from. This fowler is stocked in English Walnut, and has a 12ga barrel. The lock and barrel were browned, then rubbed back for a slightly aged look. The stock was stained with a French red filler, then finished with several coats of varnish. The brass furniture was also given a slight patina after being engraved.
