This is in the style of John R. Gillespie, eldest son of Mathew Gillespie. The original is shown on the cover of the book "The Gillespie Gun Makers of East Fork NC" by T. Dennis Glazener only the copy is left handed. A picture of John and more of this rifle can be found on pp. 21&22 of the book.
