Around the Web

Old Stone Fort is a wonderful museum, in Schoharie, NY.

Here is a wallet very similar to what you recently posted. Not a very good photo, as it's taken thru glass. There are artifacts and items from the Rev War period, on up thru the 19th Century. There are several fowling pieces, and much militaria, including original letters written by Joseph Brant.

There purportedly a British cannonball wedged in the cornice of the old church, which was used as a fort during Brant's raids on the Schoharie Valley.
