Watercolors of Powder Horns by Rufus Alexander Grider
Part 4 of Engraved Powder Horns on Christine Sawyer's site Eclectric Life Puzzle is an article on the watercolors of powder horns by Rufus Alexander Grider. Rufus spend many vacations traveling to document powder horns.
There is an exhibit "Drawn to the Same Place: The Mohawk Valley Drawings of Rufus Grider and Fritz Vogt" at the Arkell Museum in Canajoharie, NY until August 14.
