Cross Earrings by Kateri Daman

These earrings are based on originals excavated on Round Island, MI. near Mackinaw Island. The crosses represent the 4 thunderbirds pattern in Native American Religion.

Kateri and Kris Daman Cross and Fingerwoven Strap

This is a sterling silver cross, based on an original found on Round Island, Michigan. Kateri Daman is a silver smith in northern Michigan. The cross is 1" x 1" and the strap is fingerwoven in the oblique weave of black wool yarn with the bead threaded on the weaving yarn. The ends of the strap were brought together and woven and the fringe is beaded. The strap is by Kris Daman
