"Penner" by Art DeCamp

This is a very close replica of a piece that is in the collection at Winterthur. It is a four-piece penner or inkwell. The bottom section is the sander, next up is storage cavity probably for sealing wafers, then next is the ink container with a cork. The top section holds a screw-out pen knife for preparing the quill and also acts as the knife handle.
