Tribute horn honoring Virginia Militiaman Thomas Price. Mr. Price, born 1738, fought with the Augusta County Virginia Militia in Lord Dunsmore's War in the battle of Point Pleasant with the Southern Division Under Col. Charles Lewis, on October 10th, 1744. He was wounded in the battle but recovered. During the Revolutionary War once again he fought with the Virginia Militia and was wounded once again. He died in 1828. The horn was commissioned by one of his descendants.
