I just competed this horn.. Its mainly copied from a horn in a private collection, with the exception of the inlay at the spout end....I couldn't see exactly what the original was made like in the photo. The owner of the horn told me the side inlay had the initials C.C.. He believes its for Kit Carson. This horn is the only one I have seen with that butt plug.
