This red and tan strap was inspired by what Madison Grant referred to as, "the flame stitched shoulder strap with foliated leather terminals..." Plate 8, pages 20-21, in The Kentucky Rifle Pouch. Kerry's interpretation is handwoven completely of cotton. The sturdy shoulder strap measures 2" wide by approximately 52" long with 1 1/2" solid brass rings on each end. This strap would look great attached to an early style shot pouch or haversack.
