Rifle by Siegfried Mau of Germany for Peter Stahl

This rifle is based on a rifle original made in England, maker unknown (maybe Grice ? ) 
The Rifle is in the Book Kentucky Rifles & Pistols 1750-1850 on page 162. 
44 inch barrel in 54 cal.

    Fine looking rifle. Shows excellent workmanship in the sturdy no-nonsense style the English used in their working guns.
