This fabric is from an old mattress tick which still had feathers in the seams when I took it apart. The fabric was a wonderful twill which was dense enough to keep the feathers in. All I had was a scrap so I did not feel bad about cutting the fabric.
The tie on this bad is one of my tapes that is a checkerboard design made with natural linen and natural dyed cutch. J.R.Photos by Jan Riser.
