Houston is one of our most talented gunsmiths. His products are fairly scarce and the quality is always tops. He is also quite an accomplished guitar player... and often is mistaken for Jimmy Rogers!!

Tom Condé Straps

The original of this strap went thru Sothebys in Nov. 1995, this is the image from the catalogue.

Tom's version of the original.

A variation of the strap with the bead patterned rearranged and the wool dyed with madder root.

The last image is a variation keeping the original bead pattern but also dyed with madder root. This last one is on a Micmac style horn done by Mike Small from one in Grancsay's "American Powder Horns".

Louie Parker After Herman Rupp

In '93  I had not built a rifle since '81,  so felt the need to do something. I got inspired by the work of Herman Rupp. So I used two of his rifles to lay out a plan, added a few of my own details and exaggerated some of his and this is the result .

Butch Darrall Cherry Inlaid Cupboard

From rough boards to finished product, this piece was crafted using only traditional hand tools. Solid cherry with painted poplar interior. The mouldings were hand cut using original 18th century wooden planes. Inlay designs were influenced by original Federal period pieces made in Tennessee. approx 32"h 20"w 10"d
